<p>University of Florida offers a combined Bachelors in ChemE and Masters in Biomedical Engineering 5 year program. How realistic is completion of this type of program in 5 years? Also, what kind of jobs could you get with these degrees? Pharmaceuticals?</p>

<p>Can’t speak for UF, but a 5 year degree program isn’t uncommon. If you’re good enough to do it, you might want to front-load a few classes (take them early) to open graduate classes in your last year. It’s very possible to do it in 1 year, but since you’re switching majors, you might need just a little more.</p>
