UF Housing

Im in the process of filling out my housing application, and Im SOOO confused
I will be a freshman and i want something central to campus and VERY social
but i do have to say that im a little high maintenance and i need a fairly nice dorm
i might end up rushing so something close to the sororities would be preferable

i was accepted into the honors program so hume is an option

thanks for any input!

Hume is noticeably nicer than anything else, but it costs alot more. Broward and Rawlings are pretty centrally located and very social, but apparently they're the "moldiest" dorms. The Graham area dorms aren't quite as social or centrally located as Broward area, but they are a little nicer than Broward Area, and there is also a pool. Beaty is apartment style if you want that. Murphree area is right next to everything, but its not social at all and you have a good chance of getting put with an upperclassman. That's about all I know.

They are as social as Broward area dorms. Generally, more Simpson and Trusler, than Graham.
