UF Murphree Area Housing Question

Currently a freshman trying to determine where to possibly live on-campus next year as a sophomore at the University of Florida. Want to stick to Murphree Area due to proximity to most of classes and gym, but having difficulty determining which hall. Right now attempting to get a single room but am put down as a two-room double in Sledd Hall on the first floor. All I’ve been told is that Fletcher is a no-go due to mold problems and Murphree is very antisocial with very few bathrooms.

Hoping to get any input about the different halls from current or past residents. Floor plans and/or pictures would be great as well in order to see where rooms. Thanks.

Forgot to add in to above post - want to stick with single or two room double rooms for privacy and was wondering which halls for certain have sinks located in the rooms. Thanks again.

I picked a Buckman double with my roommate, that’s huge for next year. I know Buckman has sinks as well as Murphree. Sledd does not have any sinks and no singles are available at all. Sledd I know has been very humid in the past and people have had issues with mold. Fletcher doesn’t have any sinks as well. Buckman doesn’t have any two room doubles I believe though. Murphree has no singles. I know Thomas has sinks but I think there are only doubles and triples left.
