I am in my second year of college here in fl. I attend a community college in Tampa. I am interested in Criminology and i wanted to know what school is better for that program. I know UF is a better school academically, but FSU is great for other things. Ive heard good things about both schools programs, and now i just want to get feedback from more people. I have visited Tally and enjoyed myself and have yet toured UF. I plan to do that close to Thanksgiving. Anyways, please help. Thanks! And please don't be biased.

FSU has a better ranked Criminology program, but UF too has a respectable criminology program. I think FSU is 7th, and UF is 12th. So it is nothing too noticeable for most people. If you’re looking at possibly working in Government one day, then FSU is the clear winner. If thats not a factor, tour UF and see which school is a better fit for you. If you’re looking at pursuing a graduate law degree, then both would be fine. I have friends who attend top law schools who went to UF and FSU.
