UF or TAMU

I got accepted as a transfer to the college of engineering for both schools but i don't know which one to choose. I lived in Florida and have been in UF, i love it.. i love that i already know engineer friends there who can help me and there is a lot of hispanic people (i'm peruvian.) .. Texas A&M is one of the top engineering school but is it too hard?? is there a lot a large hispanic community?? I also applied for a scholarship but i haven't heard anything.. it would be expensive since i have to pay out of state..

Both are vary similar schools. Both have 18% Hispanic undergrads, both have strong engineering programs, both are in the top 25 of public universities. Only TAMU has petroleum engineering,

If you’re paying OOS tuition at TAMU ($25K/year), and in-state at Florida ($6k/year), then UF is the easy choice.

You love UF and it’s a fraction of the price? Seal the deal. Be closer to home. Enjoy your friends.

It’s a clear choice and wonderful opportunity!

Go to UF…I say this as an A&M engineering senior. Both are outstanding engineering schools with great recruitment and similar cultures. No sense paying OOS ( unless for maybe MIT or Caltech or an ultra elite engg school)
