What would be a good SAT, ACT, and GPA to get accepted for an OOS Student?
How is school pride? Obviously must be good for an SEC School.
How are the dorms and food?
I am an ECU Pirate fan who is also applying to ECU in a few months. But I am looking beyond ECU, and I definitely could switch to a Gator fan because I would like attending UF. Thanks for the help.
UF has a solid program with several degree options:
•Computer Engineering (CEN), accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET
•Computer Science - College of Engineering (CSE)
•Computer Science - College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CSC)
•Digital Arts and Sciences (DAS)
•Computer Science Minor
Note that the CS program in engineering tends to be more rigorous. https://www.cise.ufl.edu/academics/undergrad
An OOS students needs stats about the same as in-state students. However, you want better than average stats, to earn a somewhat rare OOS scholarships.
UF’s holistic admissions, can also make UF’s process seem a bit random.
It’s the Gator Nation, it’s as strong as any SEC school.
For Freshman, it’s average at best, with most living in the older style dorms. However, most move off campus, after the first year, and off campus housing is plentiful and fairly affordable. Those that stay on-campus, after the first year, tend to stay at the newer suite style housing (which is also very nice).
