@ZAQxsw I’m currently a FSU student. Although I understand what you’re saying about UF, you have to recognize several things:
FSU’s transfer process is ROLLING. Therefore, if you submit your app. and they “consider you a good applicant” they will let you know of your admission ASAP.
**Side Note here too: FSU’s transfer admission is substantially less competitive. Admission is almost guaranteed if your GPA is more than a 3.0.
UF is experimenting with a new system. It was bound to have some problems. Sure, the lack of communication is annoying, but does it change anything? Sure it is very annoying and anxiety-inducing, but is it that big of a deal?
At the end of the day, the admission process is just a small part of your college experience and you probably won’t remember the experience in a few years.
Regardless, you will enjoy FSU very much. I know multiple people doing Real State and they are very happy. If you have question let me know.
I can’t register for orientation. I’m an English major. Are there any other CLAS students who can’t register either? If you were able to register how did you do it?
I think I know why the offer BABA. If im in the correct site, I’m looking at courses that are open. They are extremely limited so a person coming in to a finance or accounting major would not have classes to take. Where as if you are BABA you can take electives and courses for your “specialization “ until fall… just a guess. Maybe that’s why they encourage transfers to apply to BABA?
