UGA law school placement

I'm planning to major in Political Science at UGA and enroll in law school upon graduation. My question is what are the most common law schools that UGA grads attend? I would also like to know what are the most common tops law schools that UGA grads attend.

Thanks!

A solid number attend UGA Law and a number of them get very high scholarships- I know of several with full tuition and a few on full rides.

UVA Law also appears to be popular- I know at least 5 people there, including a number on scholarships. Duke and Vandy are also fairly popular choices.

Other schools where I know in the past few years ppl have gone to/are going next year:
Yale (at least 3), Harvard (at least 3), Stanford (at least 1, I think another will be going there), Columbia (almost full tuition scholarship I think), Michigan (big scholarship), Emory (full scholarship), Alabama, Colorado, Tulane, and probably several I’m forgetting. UGA’s definitely had good success with law school apps; there doesn’t appear to be any bias against the UGA name.

I wonder how many of those were Foundation Fellows - any idea about that? How do non-FF Honors students fare in law school admissions?

Good question, jablalf. Vig180, (or anyone else.), do you know the answer to jablalf’s question? (I would like to know myself.)

I have a bit of a selection bias because I know Fellows the best (so I’m sure there are many more I don’t know about), but I know at least two Harvards, a few UVAs, one Michigan, one Vandy, and the full scholarship to Emory that were non-Fellows.

We’re lucky to have such a highly ranked and well-regarded law school at UGA. If you’re looking to practice law in Georgia, UGA is an excellent choice. U.S. News and World Report just ranked us as the 28th best law school (10th best public school).
