UGA vs Clemson: Bioengineering

I’m really struggling to make a decision between these two schools. Both have good reputations and I have visited both campuses and enjoyed them. I am just wondering about how available are opportunities for a bio engineering major to do research or become more involved in the field.
I feel like Clemson is more upfront with their “safety nets” - for lack of a better word- but I dont know if the town is enough to keep me from getting bored. I plan to work hard in school but also have a life outside of classes. Can everyone just help me assess the pros and cons of each school’s program specifically and also the feel of life as a student there?
