Hey okay so I would really like to go to UGA. I got in Early Admission and I know who I want to room with and everything and I am happy with my decision. I am instate with Zel Miller scholarship. Which means I can save a lot of money for graduate school.
I also know that I want to major in their Biological Engineering program, a very promising degree, but their program is young and isn't well known yet. Do you think it will affect my future career by getting my undergrad here? If I keep my grades up do you think I can still get into a good grad school? Honest opinions please!

You’ll be fine for grad school, and a good one at that. In grad school it’s your research interests and match with a professor that matter, after your GPA.

If you know you really want to focus on the medical application side. If you’re not 100% sure, do the biochem as it leaves more doors open. But there’s not much in it. The field is touted as a real growth area in the future.
