UGA vs. Georgia Southern

I’m having a hard time deciding which school I should attend. I have already paid the housing fee and I’m waiting on my housing application to process at Southern. I have visited there and I can’t see myself anywhere else, but there is still this voice in the back of my head telling me to go to UGA. My major is Early Childhood Education and I’ve met with my future professors, and I am just in love with Southern. This voice in my head though is whats’s weighing on me. I need someone to help me weigh my pros and cons and help me make the hardest decision. From the outside looking in it may be clearer to you… HELP!

Why is that voice telling you to go to UGA? Better reputation? job opportunities after? Better alum connections? Athens more fun than Statesboro? Of those, I’d agree with the last one. And maybe the first. But they probably don’t matter. Go where you feel the fit is right. With an education degree wit wont matter if you go to UGA or GSU.

For your field, the name of undergraduate school will not matter much. Go to GSU if you like it better.
