Ugh. CR score drop. Help

So... I'm an international student and I usually have no problem with the Math and Writing secionts of SAT. I managed to get score close to 800 in both in OCT test.
But the problem is the reading section... I score usually around 650... but this test, I got 580...
When I saw it, I was quite shocked.

Does anyone else have this problem? How can i fix this?
How does a 2150 with 580 CRITICAL READING!!!!!! look to admission officiers? preety awful? right?

HELP ME :(

the first time i took the sat i got a 510 and i was born in the us!

Hmm, there’s no magic way to make an 800, but can give you a few tips, I guess. By the way, on the PSAT, in 10th grade, I made a 67 on the CR section, without studying. My most recent practice scores have been around 750, but I’m taking the SAT in January, so I don’t have an official score to give you, but I that should give me enough credibility. The one thing I’ve learned has been that it’s not good to read CR passages until the question requires you to do so. College Board tests number the lines in the passages, so they always tell you the line number of the material in question, so just jump to that line, read the material, and answer the question. Don’t read the passage until you get a question asking for the mood or tone, or to compare and contrast it with another passage. Not only does this save time (this time saved should help you more, being an international, you may need it to complete some really difficult questions, then again, so do most people), but it makes choosing an answer choice much clearer and easier. Also, some basic test-taking advice you probably already know: If you can eliminate one or more answer choice, you’re statistically better off to answer it, and the likelihood that this will pay off increases with every answer choice you eliminate. Just keep that first tip in mind while you work through practice tests(:
