<p>hey everyone. i'm nearing the end of my junior year and i know i need to get crackin on my college application process. i took both the act and the sat, and those were already sent to my 4 choice schools, but im wondering if i'll be able to get in. </p>
<p>my gpa is around a 3.7 unweighted, but weighted it's a 4.3. on the act, i got a 27 (english & reading- 31, math- 21, science- 23, writing- 30) and for the sat i got a 1780 (reading- 640, math- 520, writing- 620).</p>
<p>my 4 choice schools are university of illinois chicago, university of illinois urbana-champagne, embry-riddle aeronautical university (daytona beach campus) and columbia college chicago.</p>
<p>i know my scores are high enough for the last two, but i'm worried about getting into uiuc because thats my top choice. i want to be either a pilot or a journalist (i'm still undecided), and if i go to uiuc, i can double major in both aviation human factors and broadcast journalism. but i know my math scores are horrible (which isn't good for aviation). luckily, i don't need to retake the sat (it's not a requirement at any of my colleges, i just wanted to take it), but i dunno if i should retake the act or if i'll be ok on college. thanks :]</p>
