Uh oh? I changed my class

So when I applied to schools I said I was taking Spanish 4 AP but then I got into the class, sat down, and thought "Why the hell am I in here?" so I dropped and took a class that would have SOMETHING to do with my intended major -> Programming I

So usually people say that doing things like this doesnt matter too much but Spanish 4 AP is a higher end class and programming 1 is an elective of sorts....do I need to inform them? I've been trying but i cant find any way to do it!!!! I dont get email responses from colleges, annoying. BTW I would have to tell UC Davis, Santa Barbara, Berkley, Santa Cruz, San Diego and a bunch of states ! ANNOYING!

so, whats ur question?

What happens when you send them an email? I get responses from USC faculty all the time. You can also call the admissions office and just let them know. It might be a little more difficult at other schools, but I'm sure you could let them know just in case.

My Q:

do I need to inform them? I've been trying but i cant find any way to do it!!!!

The University of California very clearly states that if you change something that you reported on your application (a grade, a class, etc.) you have to let them know. It is your choice, of course, but if you are admitted based on what turns out to be inacurate information your admission could be rescinded.

Thanks for all of your posts, but they're not really helping.

Where exactly do i go on the university sites to update my schedule? For States and UC's?

You can always FAX them or call them and say, where do I send this to.

You want everyone here to do your work for you eh?

Use the phone, or send a fax and then send a hard copy if you can't do it online

Jeesh

sorry if i wasnt clear in my post, but I did say I wasn't able to get through to them.

The point of this post is to try and find people who have already done this who can tell me what they did.

It's a forum for people to advise eachother, not for people who know everythign to talk about how smart they are. Thanks.

It doesn't make sense that you can't get through to them. It's easy to contact the admissions office at my school (USC) and it might be similar at UCs. When you need to contact someone, what do you do? Try a different method.

"It's a forum for people to advise each other ..."
That's what we're doing (or at least I am).
