Uh oh.... my "app complete" disappeared

On my application status page the "Your application is completed" disappeared today.
I sent it in 11/1 and was completed mid november and im out of state.
Does this mean they made a decision ??

Press "View Decision"

Ballaboy- there is no "View Decision" link. luckyboy- this is the 2nd time this has happened to me (where the application is complete thing disappeared). UMich said it meant they had made a decision. But, it turned out that it was just a glitch in the system. So, it could mean they made a decision, or it could not.

same here, I hope they have made a decision. I've waited long enough.

mine has disappaered too.. it cant' possibly mean that all of us got our decision.. meh its probably just a glitch?

ya its happened to everyone i know....oh well, maybe some of us will get a decision today.

it had said "app not complete" on my screen for the longest time, and now its just says nothing.. so, i don't think a decision would come that abruptly.

I was told that I would not hear either way until i submitted my 7th semester grades and my App. is complete went away too so I'm sure it means nothing

Yea I'm leaning towards a glitch.. it'd be a bit weird if they came to a decision on all apps on the same day, eh?

No maxer, they do their decisions in batches so they normally do give out a bunch of decisions on the same day.

Yep... apps are read individually (by several people). But that just results in a rating, from "High Admit" to "Deny." Not a decision. The fact that your app has been read (and the ratiing it was given) will not be revealed to you on Wolverine Access.

In weeks where Michigan makes decisions, it will generally make decisions on all apps with the same rating. So a whole batch of "High Admits" (for example) will get a decision on the same day, even though they might have been completed, read, and evaluated on several different days.

so hoedown, do you know if this is just a glitch or not?

Nope. Sorry.

"app complete" has also disappeared on DS's WA

I was informed on "Live Chat" today that this was done to avoid confusion.

happened to me too...

ironic that the confusion they sought to avoid is what they ended up creating, no?

absolutely I was not too confused before (although anxious), now totally confused and even more anxious for DS

what confusion were they intending to avoid?

I'm sure it's the millions of calls they have had to answer regarding the delay in posting "application is complete" from the time credentials are all received. This has led to confusion and it seems smart for them just to eliminate the app complete designation. Supposedly, it meant nothing anyway - they process as soon as everything is received.

BTW, mine is missing too. I guess they will have to answer lots of calls about this now!

if your financial aid info starts appearing, you've been accepted. if it doesnt, well... better luck next year
