UHart for a student not interested in the arts

I know that UHart offers very strong arts programming - - but D is not particularly interested in studying any music/dance/art. Her friends are creative/indie types, but like D, none of them wants an arts major.

UHart looks like a good academic match for D and we hope to visit - - but in the meantime:

what's the quality of the non-arts instruction (D is in psych, educat, special ed, maybe occupational therapy)?

is D likely to make friends among the artsy types -- or do they keep pretty much to themselves (different schedules at the different colleges making cross-registration and cross-disclipline interaction difficult)?

Thanks.

Ummm, I was set to go there, but didn’t up attending (long story). Anyway, although my schedule was picked out and was very Art School oriented, the roommate they picked out for me was from the Hartt School, so they don’t really keep them together. I think that if your daughter went there, she’d be fine. Also, the education has the magnet school, so I’m pretty sure it has a decent program for that. I know this is a late post, but maybe it can help others considering it.
