Although I haven't enrolled yet, I'm about 90% sure that I will. I've been trying to figure out housing already because the UHC housing requires an application and I'd like to know ASAP where to live for my freshman year!

This is the blurb about the FHS LLC found on the housing website:

"Location: Tower A

The Health Sciences Living Learning Community is available to freshmen planning a career in medicine or other health sciences. Students choosing to live in this community will be provided with enhanced opportunities that will make them more competitive in the medical school application process. Students participating in the Health Sciences Living-Learning Community will have opportunities to attend training presentations related to their medical fields of interest. In addition, they will have access to academic resources that can assist them with their science-related course work. They can learn about medical school opportunities and participate in MCAT early test preparation programs. Lastly, they can learn about possible medical research programs and opportunities."

I'm wondering if I can get these same opportunities in the UHC dorms, or even which of the two would be better for me overall. I'm planning on majoring in microbiology with the intention of one day going to medical school. Also, I want to major/minor in French.

Thanks for any imput!
