I go to one of the most competitive high schools in New England and my gpa is low because i struggle in spanish( b’s and b-'s).

I mean, UIUC doesnt look at recs, AP scores (for admissions) or SAT2. CE is getting super competitive recently as people try to use it as a “CS-lite” option. That being said, your stats are probably good enough to get in but its become such a crapshoot recently that safety schools are a must. The physics program here is really awesome and still relatively small compared to the ECE/CS behemoths, so I think you should manage to get in to the second choice at least.
