<p>I need inputs on what school i should attend for civil engineering</p>

<p>What are the benefits to attending each of these schools?
Is it really worth 200k for 4 years at CMU compared to like 60K for PSU or 100k for Illinois?
Tell me what you like and dislike about the school if you attend one of these.</p>
<p>gribbin26, I recommend that you post this over on the engineering forum, where you will get input from engineering professionals in addition to students and parents. I would probably not pay an extra $100K for CMU over Illinois, but it is possible you would qualify for merit aid, depending on your stats. Have you been accepted to these schools, or is this a hypothetical?</p>
<p>It’s more like $100,000 for Penn State, even in state.</p>
