<p>I got admitted to UIUC UCSD and UW seattle!
my major for uiuc and uw is undeclared. But i got admitted to SD for economics major. And now im trying to decide between these three. Can any1 give me some suggestions? </p>
<p>p.s. I heard that iz a bad idea to go to the UCs this year cuz of the financial crisis. Is it true that most people wont graduate in 4 years? </p>

<p>These are three great choices. It really depends on what you are looking for in terms of environment. UW is a big name school in a GREAT city that would be cheaper to live in then San Diego but more expensive than UIUC (Urbana Champaign). UIUC is in a mid size college town. It is very fraternity oriented, but also has “hippie ghetto” nearby and one of the best library systems in the nation. UCSD is in an absolutely BEAUTIFUL part of California, but is expensive as far as rent and cost of living. It is not the “Big U” experience as far as sports and frats etc but is as strong if not stronger academically.</p>
<p>However, if you are thinking econ/business for sure Illinois is the strongest in that area, but it is very competitive. Ultimately this comes down to where do you want to live and what kind of experience do you want to have, you really have three very different environments. PERSONALLY, I would opt for Washington because Seattle is a great city, cost of living is decent, public transportation is great and you get the BIG U experience. UIUC would be my 2nd choice, because I prefer Urbana-Champaign to La Jolla and the cost of living is REALLY cheap and it is only a 2 hour drive to CHICAGO!</p>

u think that the econ in uiuc is the best among this 3 universities,right?
how about ucsd? its a beautiful city and rank higher, plus its near la where my boyfriend studies ><!! so i’m really confused.</p>
