UIUC vs UCSD

Hey guys!

I got admitted into both UIUC for Engineering Physics and UCSD for nanoengineering. I am struggling to choose between these two colleges. I know UIUC’s engineering program is in the top 5, and I also read that UIUC’s Engineering Physics is considered number one in the nation. However, I prefer UCSD’s weather, location, and its nanoengineering program. I can’t seem to decide but my main considerations are:

  1. Choice of major
  2. Internships and opportunities
  3. Quality of life

Also, I would like to enter new technology fields.

Please help me!!! May 1st is coming.

Remember, much of an institution’s reputation is based on their graduate program. Plus, you’re comparing apples to oranges. Both are good options. Go with your gut. You’ll do great either way.
