UK Decisions Thread - Oxbridge, London Unis, etc.

Sorry if I sounded ungrateful. I thought it would be rather obvious that most people, no matter whether they’re certain about the college, would be happy to be fished and to have the opportunity to go to Cambridge. I thought the exclamation point and the statement that I was “very, very happy,” made that obvious. I also thought it would be rather obvious that most people do not apply to Oxbridge just to live in old buildings, but again, it seems I was wrong.

I stayed in a new room at Christ’s when I interviewed, which I loved. It was sizeable (I called my sister at college to brag) and had a sink which for some reason excited me. I just thought it would be nice, a good bonus, to get to live somewhere old. I don’t like new places in general. Sorry if my expression of that sentiment offended you.

I’m not offended. I just wanted to point out that building age is a poor way for anyone anywhere to make their choice of college.

I hope this doesn’t spell the death of this thread :stuck_out_tongue:
Either way, I distinctly rememeber there being more people who applied to English schools last year…

I shall attempt to revive it then ;)

Wadham College, Oxford for Oriental Studies- Conditional (High School Diploma…hehehe)

Haha, wow. I didn’t know they did that. So I guess unconditional means… well, I won’t go there haha
