I wrote in one of my previous threads that I was thinking about transfering to St. Andrews (I didn't mention UCL, but add that to the list please). Honestly I know nothing about the UK admissions/transfer process so if someone could just give me advice that would be fabulous!!

I’m looking at the London School of Economics as well, but am really confused on how such process works. If anybody could help us out, that’d be great!

Hey guys! I actually applied to Royal Holloway (and got in) this past semester, so if you have any questions, let me know! I totally understand how stressfull UCAS is, especially when you have to figure it all out on your own.

Also (I don’t know if this affects you or not), I applied as a first year student because A) credits don’t easily transfer between countries, and B) university is only 3 years over there anyway.

If you want to talk, PM me with your email and I’d be glad to go back and forth talking about the whole process.

Otherwise, I can answer your questions on here (I just don’t check these forums as often as my email, though).

My understanding is that the concept of “transferring” doesn’t really apply to the UK schools, but one applies as a freshmen.
