bump........

you cant cancel it.
And its too late to cancel for this year too.

"...Grades may be canceled at any time, but we must receive your signed request by June 15 if you want your 2007 grades canceled before they are released to you, your designated college (if any), and your high school. You cannot cancel grades by e-mail or phone. Once you cancel a grade, it is permanently deleted from your record. There is no fee for grade cancellation, and the exam is not refunded."

I stand corrected.
But after then you for sure cant.

So... I have a quick question on the AP Scholar Awards. Do the AP Exams that you take during Senior year go towards whether you earn a scholar award. Also, if one were to cancel one of the ap exam grades from a previous year, would that person still be able to achieve a scholar award such as AP Scholar with Distinction? Thanks.

You can't cancel grades from a previous year. Once you know what grade you receive on an AP test, it counts towards your AP Award. Senior year APs will help determine if you're eligible for an award...

Is the AP scholar thing really that important then (like for college and stuff) since its awarded after senior APs and thus, after college apps are submitted?

bump///////////

if you manage to get an award before senior year, based on fresh-jr. year ap's, then it can matter.

otherwise it doesnt.

I am currently in 3 APs and will take 3-4 next year. 2/3 of my AP I think I did fine, but on my Spanish AP I think I got a 1/2 (and to make it worse I have an A- in the class, which looks like inflation.) However, my school has a policy where I can decide to change the class I have been taking from AP to IV (only I would have done harder work for a lower class). And then I could just take the AP next year, without fear of being judged by colleges. Should I or should I not lower my class level, or should I just keep the score and send/not send it. Thanks

^^^You shouldn't. I explained in the other thread that it will only hurt you even more.
