<p>Florida is a bit stronger academic IMO</p>
<p>University of FL is ranked a smidgen higher by US News at #48 whereas UMiami is #52 (or something). Do you want to stay by your home? </p>
<p>UF has an upstanding medical school and is known for their science programs. UMiami is a great school, but UF has the edge academically. However, the “big school” atmosphere isn’t for everybody. Is UMiami smaller? Ask yourself these questions.</p>
