I would like to see my son be more enthusiastic about the possibility of going to UMASS. He was admitted early action and I want to sign him up for an admitted student event. The admitted student open house doesn’t look very interesting but they have something called YouMass Days. Has anyone been to a YouMass day? What is it like?
I just signed my daughter up for the admitted student day in Feb…it’s no good?
I’m not saying it’s not good but I looked at the agenda and it just seem like a regular open house with perhaps some more detail about some of the academics. It’s not really what I am looking for. My son went to a shadow day at University of Maryland and loved it… it is a much more personal experience and I was wondering if that if what YouMass days are like.
I’m assuming that U Maryland is going to cost a lot more for him than U Mass? Seems to me that you need to have a frank discussion with him about finances.
He is Out of State for both schools. The tuition, room and board costs are virtually the same. In fact, Maryland comes in slightly cheaper.
