i got in with low stats so all of you with pretty high stats will be fine. Stay positive.
@collegeknitter I agree. I wish they’d send all the letters at once, or even better, just send out emails. They clearly can’t handle as many applications as they are getting very well.
@warrior481 Do you mind sharing your stats? Mine are below average, so I’m looking for some sign of hope. Congrats!
3.5 weighted gpa, 1110 sats m + cr , got in as a pre med major with not a lot of ec’s but strong essay and very good rec letters @mrmediocre
The web site had said they were closed after Dec 30th so I imagine nothing would be updated on Spire or mailed out since Wednesday.
@DonnaEv Do you know when they’ll be back?
I think they were back today. @mrpwnage
@mrpwnage The website says Umass reopens January 2 but I don’t know if the admissions office would be open.
@collegebanana sorry this is way overdue. If you’re still interested in my stats here they are:
4.5 weighted GPA
3.7 unweighted GPA
All honors and AP courses (with the exception of chemistry my junior year and geometry my sophomore year)
31 ACT
Average amount of EC’s with one varsity sport and 25 hours of paid work a week
Dual citizen for the US and South Africa
Great teacher recs and strong personal essay
If you have any other questions or any stats that you want that I didn’t provide please let me know. I consider myself a strong student but nothing extraordinary, so do not worry too much about Isenberg or Commonwealth Honors College. If it’s meant to be, it will be. Good luck!
I think the admissions office should open on January 4th Monday
Nothing, I have an sat 2200 and am ranked top 2% at my school, I thought I would have heard by now. I’m very interested in the honors college.
@nsliyromanov It’s so torturous. I don’t understand why it takes so long to review such strong apps. At this point, UMass is worse than the ACT at sending out stuff (at least the ACT actually kept posting results online as they went along. UMass looks like it puts everything off to later).
@sccergirl how did you find out about your acceptance to UNH? online or by mail?
by snail mail.
Has anyone received an acceptance to the Sport Management major at Isenberg? The wait is driving my son crazy
@FCSmomRN I haven’t seen anyone post any acceptances either by email or on Spire since the middle of last week.
We have been waiting to hear something…still no mail…good luck!
I got in College of Comp Sc with Honors and $12k Chancellor’s scholarship.
I am an International applicant from India. So I got an update on SPIRE and they told me that they’d not be sending snail mail.
My stats are as follows:
Academics :
9, 10th grade - 10 CGPA each.
11th grade - ~81%

A few CS related projects
Started the School Math Club
@Tosshaan When did SPIRE update for you?
I still haven’t heard anything back from them. I applied EA for general studies. A little worried since they are my top pick but they claim to be sending them out throughout the month of January as well. Anyone else still waiting and spire still says under review?
