I saw some people get in on a reddit thread
If you have all green checks you should be good.
Not my daughter. She submitted late October. Didnāt submit SATS and has a weighted 4.0. We are not expecting her to get in. We were very happy to get other good direct admits though, including UVM, Fairfield, Ulowell, st. As and Endicott. So if she gets into UMass Amherst test optional we will be ecstatic
My daughter applied nursing and has not heard back but a friend of hers was admitted to nursing today. I am assuming that is not a good sign.
Daughter admitted today with Chancellorās Award $16,000/yr. CS Major OOS
Daughter logged in to withdraw (got in ED elsewhere) and found out she got in. CS major, OOS, $16k chancellor.
Did UMass only release acceptances? Did anyone who heard today not get in?
I have twins. My D got in today, which makes 5/5 for acceptances
Her twin didnāt hear back yet. My husband called and the woman he spoke to said their wonāt be another wave for a couple of weeks. Based on last year I would bet it might be 3 weeks but who knows. Iām crushed for this high stats kid who really loves UMass.
Congrats to all who heard back and were accepted. For those still waiting along with us, hold the faith!
I am wondering the same thing but I doubt weāll get an answer. I donāt think many people will reveal their rejections.
I guess I am wondering if UMass released only acceptances near Christmas and after the new year they will drop a bunch of rejections
These are EA applications. A lot of colleges donāt reject many applicants, instead they are deferred.
We are OOS
we were admitted to isenberg OOS
Do folks get an email on the acceptance or do you have to log into the portal to find out?
are they going to be releasing next tuesday as well or will we have to wait until the new year? also do you think there will be more decisions released tonight?
S got an email and found out today. OOS, CS, got in, $16k Chancellorās Award but no Honors College. What does one have to do to get admitted to Honors? He got a 1560 on SATs (800 math), 4.4W GPA from a competitive NE high school, but I guess not many ECs.
Good to get one out of the way - this was our first college response since he didnāt like anything enough to ED.
Good luck to all!
My son, OOS got in for CS, with $16,000 per year
have any heard back OOS with a psychology major?
Seems like its most of out of state rn, im in state applying for kinesiology. Im anxious waiting.
My D22 got into Nursing today in state. For my older D19, she had friends who didnāt hear back until January and many were accepted then.
