got $16k Chancellor’s scholarship, didn’t get into honors,

Stats:

Didn’t submit SAT (too low lol)
I take the full IB program (predicted 42/45), our school doesn’t do gpa but i think it’s a 3.9W (junior year) and 4.6W (senior year)
Lots of extracurriculars (leader of MUN, class president in junior year, leader of volunteering club, two internship at reputable organizations)
I think my letters of rec were pretty good

Son is accepted with Honors and $16K Chancellor’s Award. Journalism major, 3.86 UW, 4.56 W, 1390 SAT submitted, 8 APs, 10 Honors and lots of other advanced and certificate of merit courses. Excellent ECs (Editor in Chief of high school paper, Fellow for Cong. Raskin, etc.), great LORs, and strong essays. Yaaaayyyyy!!!

Very nice news after last week’s ED Deferral.

We are relocating to Mass next year so I guess he would lose his scholarship once we establish residency. Still, nice for the first 2-3 semesters.

Congrats to everyone who hears today. Many more acceptance will be coming later on if you didn’t hear today.
