@ygo432 mine just changed too

@benl54321 what major did you apply for?

Sport Management you?

mine too. But I didn’t notice it if it said it before. I didn’t think it did. Fingers crossed,. Would love to give my daughter a great gift of acceptance for Christmas!!!

@benl54321 nursing. Really hoping we can all get an answer soon!!

My son got accepted to umass Dartmouth nursing today maybe Amherst will decide soon too. I hope

even if I don’t get in I just want to know! The anticipation is killing me

My portal changed as well!! Finger’s crossed that that is a good sign

My portal changed too!

@funwiththesun major??

Mine changed as well… applied as a biomedical engineer major. I’m excited I hope they’ll release a lot of instate applications tonight.

So it’s a good sign or not? Is there anyone’s portal hasnt been changed?

Crap, what did your’s say before? I guess I’m not overly observant. Right now, my son’s portal says:

"Thank you for applying for Fall 2018 Early Action admission to UMass Amherst.

We are pleased you are interested in attending the university, and look forward to learning about your interests and accomplishments."

past acceptances have been sent out at around 7:15 right?

@mkcblackberry some days they were around 7:15, some around 4:30, some around 5:15, so it really could be anytime

I have a 1300 sat, 740 math 560 reading. 3.4 gpa, and very good ecs with over 400 hours of service. Civil enginering award and very good essay about a business I started. I got denied from my number 1 so now im worried I wont get in?? Any one got any ideas on if I will get in? I applied for engineering.

@Hbiliouris335i I think you have a pretty good chance, especially with the 740 math on the SAT, your gpa is lower than Umass’s average but if you have a good essay and good ec’s it will hopefully make up for it. Good luck!

The engineering school is extremely competitive. I hate to say it but honestly your GPA may hurt you. My son also applied as engineering first choice with a 3.7 GPA and 1400 SAT (700/700) and I would be very surprised if he got into the engineering program. We are crossing fingers for his second choice (math). I hope you do get in! Great school. Good luck!

My school is extremely competitive so its about top 15 percent or so. Our gpa is out of 7 for weighted as well.

Thanks, i really hope i get in overall and ill transfer in if they allow that.
