I endeavor to study Wildlife Ecology/ Ethology (Both offer the program). Which will offer me more opportunities? Both are the same, in terms of tuition and overall costs. UMaine gave me a 9k scholarship, nothing from UMass.

Check the department websites for the exact classes you will take and see if they talk about student internships etc.
UMass. Not only will you get their department, but some of the other 5 colleges have strong Bio/Eco programs as well (esp. Hampshire) that you can take classes at.
