Out of all my colleges in my list, these are the only public universities I’m considering. However I’m not sure how I feel about them since I am a really independent person but I study at a small-medium sized high school where my whole class (class of 2019) is only 120 students.
I’m a US citizen but I’m living and studying abroad. The school system is completely different: there are not honor classes, no APs, and no clubs and organizations. Moreover, the grading system is different and we don’t have a GPA measured.
My family income is of around 80-100k, my major is (or at least I’m planning it to be) business, my sat score (I’ve taken it once and planning on taking it again) was really mediocre and my ECs are kinda mediocre compared to other candidates I’ve seen.
Do you guys think I have a chance? Or which one is better? I’m mainly looking for diversity, good social life & academics, etc.
What other schools would you recommend in the northeast region mainly?
PS. they’re both match schools
