Hi! I am a senior who was accepted at both Maryland and OSU for computer science. OSU is in state for me, which means it will be cheaper overall, but I haven’t received financial aid from either school yet. I was also accepted into their “green engineering scholars” program, but I’m not sure how interested I am in this yet. At Maryland, I was accepted into their FIRE program (First year innovation and research) which sounds like a promising opportunity. I loveee Maryland’s location because of its proximity to DC and NYC, but it’s around 8 hours away from me which is hard to justify. I really liked Maryland but I am torn. Can you help? Thank you so much in advance!
Not sure what “green engineering” has to do with computers If you’re doing computers, there’s no need to go out of state for any reason. In fact, you’re better off at OSU because Columbus is considered one of the country’s top hubs for tech jobs and OSU is the top school to recruit from. You’re much better off staying in OH.
