<p>This is legit information though: I have a friend who has an aunt who works at UMD. She gave him his admission decision, so I know for a fact that admissions are done. UMD is just taking its sweet ass time.</p>

anyway a few days ago i emailed admissions and they said that their first decision letters are released by February 1st and the decision will be posted online.</p>
<p>I feel somewhat foolish for actually having thought to myself, “What kind of name is Llor Tami?”</p>
<p>I wish I could say that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever thought to myself.</p>
<p>So, if the letters are released on the 1st (Tuesday) that means us out of staters should expect to get them by… Thursday (and probably later since it’s going to snow <em>AGAIN</em>)? Eek.</p>

<p>“BY” February 1st doesn’t necessarily mean ON February 1st. So it still leaves room for today or tomorrow.</p>
