How do we find out how many credits transferred?
i read on twitter that financial aid/ scholarships will be out within two weeks. but did anyone try to make a directory id yet? i just tried, and it says not found.
I tried to make a directory ID and it also said not found.
I got in with some weird stats, I had a 3.2 gpa in community college but had a 1.8 gpa in high school because I never tried. Goes to show you that high school doesn’t really matter. Tell that to everyone!
Directory id will be available after 2 weeks
I got in AHHHHHHHHHHHH! I’m so excited because I didn’t think I’d get in.
For future people scrounging the forums like I did:
OOS CC transfer (For Nutrition Sciences)
Had a reaaaaaally shaky first year of college, also had a student conduct problem on my record
2 1/2 years of progressingly better grades after transfer
Full-time job
outside of school extra currics
1 recommendation
unweighted GPA: 3.52
Also for people in the future lookin at forums: I had the housing link this morning and was accepted at 4:45pm exactly. One year and a semester at an in state 4 year school, cumulative gpa there of 3.08, now at a md cc gpa unknown.
Got in!
I still don’t have a decision yet
I don’t know why UMD got me in as “Letter and Science” Major, I applied for Electrical engineering and finish all the gateway courses and meet the requirements and will get my associates after this semester. What should I do,
I was accepted as a non-resident. I have been living in Maryland for most of my life. I live with my mom, and I attended a MD high school. Also, I currently attend Montgomery College, and I have in-state resident tuition. I am employed in Maryland, and I have successfully filed Maryland Taxes as well. However, I can see the issue with residency is due to my driver’s license. My drivers license is a Virginia License, because when I was a 15 year old, I was eager to get my license slightly earlier. Maryland has a higher age requirement for a driver’s license/permit. My father, who is a Virginia resident, let me use his address to do so. My parents are divorced, and I have lived with my mother In Maryland for almost all of my life, as she had full custody over me when I was younger. I am still living at my mother’s home, and despite having a Virginia License, the car that I own is registered under my name in Maryland. I emailed the appropriate departments at UMD, and I was wondering if I would be able to get in state tuition if I go through the appeal process?
Nervous!
I got in at 4:45 PM today! This morning I checked my status page, and I had an extra Housing and Dining link.

I hope the rest of you get your decisions soon!
do i have to confirm my admission and pay the $400 deposit before knowing how much financial aid i am receiving?
@nola6652 no, you can wait until after you see financial aid to enroll
Hey guys! Just got my acceptance letter today.
Has anyone been able to get into any of the LEP programs? Me and a bunch of my friends who have 4.00 GPAs including the gateway courses have been placed in Letters and sciences although we all initially applied for Clarks school of engineering.
Has anyone actually been able to get into clarks school of engineering? Or is it only us who didn’t get in?
Make sure you send email to the LEP , with your UID and your name, tell them to check your transcript again and mention you have complete all gateway course and maintain 3.0+ gpa. That’s what my friend did last year.
