@malva27x I’m in the exact same boat. MTAP member, but my application portal hasn’t updated. Going through this thread, it appears that most of the people who haven’t received their decisions yet were members of MTAP (@towermethod for example). I’m just speculating here, but I think that’s the reason why our letters were delayed.
looks like some of us who applied into an LEP have to submit transcripts at the end of semester to be reconsider or else go Letters and Sciences…which is a load of croc. No thank you UMD. I’ll take my talents elsewhere
Does anyone know if I transfer in the Fall as a sophomore can I get into a dorm?? Or any on campus housing?
@waitupmaryland Maybe it’s because our admission is guaranteed with either an AA degree or 30 college credits with over a 3.0 GPA. Maybe they wanted to release all of the other decisions before they release the automatic decisions. Idk I’m just trying to stay optimistic lol
@herjr11 where did they tell you that you have to send in the final transcript from this semester?
I dont think having to submit transcripts at the end of the semester for the LEP is a terrible thing. The LEPs have gateway requirements and if you havent completed them then you won’t be directly admitted to your major so you take what you need to take and then apply for it. No biggie.
@malva27x I’m having the same problem. I’m not an MTAP student though. I submitted my application on Feb. 28. I sent my transcript (online order) from my school on February 23. It may have gotten there around March 2 though. When did you send yours?
I agree with @acurrey416. They just want to make sure you meet the criteria and don’t fool around the last semester at your community college.

How did you find out about your acceptances (email, letter, portal)?
I still haven’t gotten a letter or email yet and I sent all of my information in prior to the priority deadline. Did anyone else get anything today when they hadn’t gotten anything yesterday? I’m getting so anxious
I also didn’t get any admission decision yesterday. I emailed Keisha Bates as stated by @Bennsheddy9 . She said that my application was completed by the appropriate deadline to be considered a priority applicant. However, my application still under review.
For those who are not seeing an option to pay the enrollment deposit: I contacted the technical support for the applyyourself page, and I was told my deposit was waived. They told me to contact admissions to double check if I owe anything, so I suggest contacting them too if you are still not seeing an option to pay a deposit.
Summoning @lenmonster to the thread. Did your son get a scholarship when he transfered?
Nope. No scholarships. And BTW, my daughter just got in, too, so we have a two Terp family. We’re pretty stoked. But no…no scholarships.
The only merit scholarships available to transfer students are the presidental transfer scholarships and the transfer academic excellence scholarships. The presidental one is $5000 maximum and the school automatically considers all applicants for it. The TAES is full tuition and you had to apply for it in your application, and they already did the interviews for the finalists. I am not sure how much aid there is for need-based scholarships.
@fhockey11 I haven’t been able to make mine yet. I think they said it takes 48 hours after you pay the deposit for it to be all official and everything but I don’t know how we know when we’re all set and can make our ID
I called the admissions office and they said 48 hours after we confirm enrollment, that is when we check to see if we can make the ID.
As for merit scholarships, do any of you know when we’d find out about those? I didn’t apply for TAES but would love a little cash money flow from Presidential
