yup thats the one. i havent gotton the email yet either. im 99% sure we’re in though it says “for admitted students only” lol
I don’t want to get my hopes up though, without an official email
now im a bit nervous. is it possible for transfers to be admmited for spring and not fall? i want to be in for fall
I got in! Haven’t gotten the email but the acceptance is already available on the dashboard.
Yup! I got in too. The email kinda slow though.
yay i got in too
guys, i applied for priority decision, i haven’t gotten an email… how do i check on the dashboard???
I got in! The only thing is, I applied to an LEP (engineering) with all gateway requirements met but it has my major as Letters and Sciences. Any other LEP applicants in the same situation? Looking through previous posts, it sounds like they at least mention sending in final grades, etc even if you aren’t immediately accepted in the program.
oh great! how did you get your decision? By email or on the portal?
I got an email informing me that the decision was available on the portal. Once logged in to the portal there is a link with the decision letter.
@towermethod I’m in the same situation too. They mentioned sending spring transcript for reconsider application for LEP
same here letters and sciences
@TrainH weird, my letter didn’t say anything about sending in grades or even anything at all about an LEP for that matter. What program did you apply to?
@towermethod i applied for aerospace engineering
@towermethod I applied to smith college (the business school) and got into letters and sciences as well. I spoke to a friend that is in a very similar situation to me and he said that UMD is going to base your acceptance into that specific school based on your current semester grades, so make sure you study hard for finals!!
I am an MTAP student and I just heard I got in yesterday! I dont know why they waited so long apparently they missed my application. But does anyone have any info on how to apply for housing and everything??
Oh just kidding I just saw the housing and dinning link! but does anyone know if all transfer students are put on a waiting list bc were not priority?
I second the housing application question, I don’t want to be stuck without on campus housing my first semester at the university
Do we need to know what classes we are taking by orientation? I have no idea what I need.
@dshamim When I went on tour I actually met a Transfer student who showed me around when me and my mom were lost looking for a place to eat and she told me to not even bother with on campus housing because her number on the wait list was 264… From what I have heard it is extremely difficult near impossible to get on campus housing but you never know. Good luck!!
