Yeah I am super paranoid because I keep thinking that I won’t get in. I am transferring from UMBC, and my GPA was a 3.25 for the fall semester with a withdraw from one class. I am applying for letters and science. My GPA in high school was a 2.8 so that’s why I am skeptical. I got one of my professors to write a letter of recommendation for me, and I have a composite 32 on my ACT. This entire year I have been dealing with my grandfather being in the hospital, so hopefully they understand that I was kind of struggling with that.

Aww I’m sure you’ll be fine. Your composition score is really good. We are all anxious!

Yallll the decisionnn are out!!!

I got In but it say letter and science but I select criminology and criminal justice major what does that mean ???

Same! I believe it means we got in but need to fulfill all the class requirements for it and then we can switch into criminology/criminal justice.

So is this still a good thing or is it a bad thing I’m a little confused

I was accepted!!

It’s a good thing! You can call admissions if you want further details on what requirements you need to get into criminology. For me, I needed another stats class so I’m taking one this summer so by first semester I can switch in criminology.

Congratulations!!

It means that you did not get in for your major but your accepted for undecided.

I think I just need to take the criminology class that’s the only one on the requirement I think I haven’t done. Anyway as long as I get that done I pretty much get into the criminology and criminal justice program?

As far as I know, once you complete all the LEP requirements for Criminal justice/criminology (the courses can be found on their website) you can request a major change and be admitted to it! You’ll also be given a counselor that will help you navigate anything.

Thank you!!

Congrats though it’s a good thing!!
