If your school has no subgrade, how would you know those B are B+? Anyway, UMich does not count subgrades either. our GPA appears low. Do you know how many students get admitted each year from your school? Your school is a bit tough to have GPA 3.5 at top 20%.

Our school gives us subgrades for report cards and stuff but on our official transcript, there are none.
Our school ranks based on a weird scale that uses weighted GPA, and 70% of students at my school who applied to UMich, in the class of 2017, got in.(Most kids apply to Umich)
