<p>It's the eleventh hour and my D can't decide between UMiami and UGa. Two completely different schools. She loved Athens as a college town and loves big time college spirit/athletics. She likes that Miami is smaller, better academics, scholarship and Foote Fellow. What are the students like at both schools?</p>
<p>Does she realize the freedom being a Foote Fellow is going to provide her? Does she have a similar opportunity at UGA? If not, that should be heavily considered… It’s a great opportunity to totally customize your undergrad experience that few people get to do nationwide.</p>
<p>My D had this choice as well and it was hard. She LOVED UGA, but being from Florida, the cost was prohibitive. She is also a Foote Fellow and that really sealed the deal with UMiami, not to mention that her brother is at Miami and has had an incredible 3 years there so far!</p>
