<p>Im hispanic, average high school in florida.
wGPA- 4.3
unGPA- 3.4
core GPA- 3.8
Intended major, Biology or Marine biology
SAT- took twice .. 1910 superscored (650CR, 700M, 560W)
Sat2 (math level 2 (700) BioM (690)
Took 6 APs ( Human geography(2:/) Biology(4) Calculus AB (5) Calculus BC (5) Physics C Mech (5) Psychology (5)
If it isnt obvious from the Aps and scores .. im a math and science type of person, no idea why i took ap history anything knowing i suck and hate history. the 2 might lower my chances now :(
EC: not the best .. Around 250 hours
Thespians all 4 years
Key club junior nd senior yr
no job experience
Ill have good recommendations

<p>Yea I would say you have a very good shot at UMiami. Make sure you apply EA because you might get a merit scholarship. I got accepted into the spring semester at UM and waitlisted for the fall with an 1880 SAT and 3.8W GPA so I think you will be fine.</p>

UCF: Safety
UF: Low Reach/High Match
FSU: Med Match
FIU: Probs a Med Match, but I don’t really know this school! :C</p>

<p>In reality, those might all be a bit lower, but I generally like to make things a bit harder for chances.</p>

<p>If I were you, I’d work on raising your math on the SAT/ACT. Someone with great scores like that in Calc BC and Physics C should (and I’d expect you to do) well in that section. Raising it to a 2000 (especially in one sitting) could actually make a big impact on your admissions. 2100, you’re pretty solid.</p>

<p>As for ECs, it’s too late now(not necessarily, don’t know what grade you’re in), so work on anything you can do now. Like the SAT/ACT. </p>
