I believe around 60
Thanks! Congrats again!
thanks! good luck!
I just found this forum but I applied from an OOS university as an in-state res (freshman, 13 credits, 3.83 gpa, lgbt club leadership position, 1 very strong letters of rec) and got rejected but told to try again in the fall and update term through portal. Huge blow but def trying again like they said to.
Sorry about my unclear comments! What I meant is my friend’s high school classmates also applied transfer to UMich this year. They have received notification. Anyways, wish anyone the best of luck!
Does anyone know… how soon before a decision is reached does your “withdraw application” button disappear? A few hours? A few minutes?
from my first year application, I would say like 1-2 hours before decision letter. I believe transfer would be the same because it is still the same portal system.
I remember u from last year’s nyu or whatever forum. haha
why are you transferring to umich?
it has better program for my intended major. what about u
I want to return home because im from the area. Are you an in-state res?
No, I am not a michigan resident. I am so sorry to hear that you were not accepted this term, U r such a great student in a great institution and I believe the only not ideal side on ur app is how you only have 13 credits so far.(not ur faults, it’s UMich’s preference, yikes)You are very likely to make into UMich next term. I am rooting for you.
Thank you so much. It is disappointing, but everything will work out and I will hopefully get to be there next winter semester. Best of luck to you as well
they’re serious when they say to apply again! all they want to see is you continuing to do good academically and I am sure you are to get in, I am sure youre definitely going to get in.
me too lmao
One Michigan admissions officer told me that “ even a couple days’ difference in when an application was completed will also make a difference in response time as the bulk of applications are completed around February 1st.”
Makes sense. Did they mention about when the response time will be for applications completed around this time?
Was admitted OOS yesterday
3.5 gpa engineering
1500 SAT
Three letters of recommendation
10/10 essays
First Gen
Congrats! Were you one of the earlier applicants or did you apply closer to the Feb. 1st deadline?
January 29th if I remember correctly
