UMichigan Ann Arbor EA Class of 2021 Applicants

Congratulations! I was deferred. Remaining hopeful for April. @chillkitty

Best of luck to you @STEM2017! My DD would love to attend UofM, but financial aid was disappointing (was offered loans, no grants), so Honors is kind of bittersweet.

To those of who were offered merit aid, are those awards posted in wolverine access or are they just mailed to you?

Thank you! I am in the same boat no aid and no scholarships as of yet and I’m OOS. We are visiting campus later this month but without any aid or scholarships it will be nearly impossible for me to attend unless some private scholarships come my way and I’ve been busy applying for those. @chillkitty

@realityhitshard It first showed up in Woverine Access then the official letter/certificate came in the mail about a week later.

I got into LSA HONORS !! Now time to wait for some scholarships …( if they give me any)

@ChrisThompson2. Based upon your above post, if that is how you choose to spend your time, you’d probably be better served to work on sharpening your skills at Checkers or Dominos. This site should is typically pursued by those who are working hard to attend a great school like Michigan, not to make light of the process. Don’t bother responding because, if you do, I will choose to leave the site as I have better interests to discuss. Bye.

First Round of Ross Comes out tomorrow for those who are wondering.

@TheGuru20 How do you know?

@chickennuggets12 I received the scholarship in the mail. It was the Kessler Presidential Scholarship for $25,000 per year. I had to sign my form and return it in the mail.

Anyone check wolverine access to see if a new decision is up?

When will RD decision 1st wave start coming up? Last year was 5 February if i am correct

Anyone know of Facebook groups/apps/other ways of connecting with and talking with other class of 21 people?

As an FYI, Michigan, like other very selective schools, gives very little Merit money, especially to OOS students. Even the Kessler Presidential Scholarships are not purely merit based. You must have a financial need. If you do not have demonstrated financial need, getting accepted to honors does not indicate that merit money is coming your way. Go luck to all!

Okay, if I get into the summer term that I applied for, could I do the summer and winter term every year and forego the fall term? Or would I have to take the fall term right after the summer term

Did anyone hear back from Ross yet?

no

how does Ross notify of decisions? email or portal?
