@Eeeee127 They’re not behind schedule since they said they would release before 12/24, but people were expecting the EA letters to come out today, based on dates from previous years. (I believe UM said in a tweet that they would not be releasing today.)
@jjjjjj14 No proof, just simple deduction (if that’s good enough for you lol). They said they’ll come out before the 24th, meaning they’ll have to come out on this week. Wednesday is the last day UMich is in session before winter break starts. Based on all of this, I narrowed it down to Mon-Wed.

Last year it took them a week to release all the EA decisions, they even took until the 25th. So Mon-Tuesday would fit the time table of having a week to release
@amarz12 really? I thought all the decisions came out on the 18th last year because I saw a deferral thread that started on dec 18 2015.
@Eeeee127 UM Admissions’s pinned tweet from last night says that “it’s very unlikely that any decisions will be released before next week.”
@Eeeee127 if you look at the 2020 ea decision thread, the one that is like 160 pages, students were getting results from the 18th-25th

Yeah, it’s definitely fake. Someone other poster that tried to corroborate the poster’s story said he or she got a letter telling her she was in. UMich sending a decision via letter before email? I don’t think so…

Hey guys. My SAT scores are above the median score given on the COE website, but I come from an different type of school environment where athletics are kind of equal with academics. MIT deferred me yesterday. Do you think this means I have a solid application for Mich?

If you get deferred, don’t dispair. My daughter and other people we know were deferred in the first wave and later admitted. If you are deferred, advocate for yourself asap by sending relevant updates to your file. Send first semester grades when available. Contact your admissions counselor with your intent to enroll if admitted. These are thing I personally know people did who were deferred. Show serious interest! Good luck!
Guys can someone give me a particular date/time for when Umich will be releasing results??
We are unsure. UMich is being unpredictable this cycle and that is only adding to our overall anxious vibe.
Also for the group me, if anything important is said there, share it with the rest of the CCer’s that might be too uncomfortable to be in the chat (including me).
