UMichigan Ann Arbor EA Class of 2021 Applicants

hey guys i saw this on last years thread, and thought it might help ease the nerves again, “anyone see the NEW STAR WARS movie?”

@HRSMom You say that, but after this, I have UVa to wait for. And my in-state flagship has yet to release my ea decision :frowning:

Good luck @as1799 I am also expecting decisions from Purdue and Umich in the EA cycle now!!

I’m just going to wait until I get about 70 notifications on here in a short time span and then I’ll know that decisions are in… I’ll just let you guys constantly check :stuck_out_tongue:
GO BLUE!

^you should unfollow this one and follow the official result one. This one gets a lot of movement!!!

@HRSMom @as1799 I have have to wait for UVA!!

@liveForWat I saw the nEW STAR WARS MOVIE ! was great

One reason for the delay could be because of transcript issues. My in-state school had a dozen early applicants for Michigan and everyone got deferred due to the school not turning in the transcripts on time. My school eventually worked things out and our application was back in the pool, but could have caused delays

@HRSMom Is there a decision thread? Can you send post the ink?

@plaidpants5 ikrr! a good star wars movie?, looks like the gods r smiling at us, lets just hope the keep smiling at usf for this whole week, this anxiety is going to kill me…

Thinking ahead: How long after EA do Financial Aid/Award letters come out?

I see lots of familiar user names from other school treads, I guess most of us are in the same boat :stuck_out_tongue:

Most financial aid decisions will come out February/March

Anyone here watch The Man in the High Castle? Season 2 came out Friday and it was pretty lit.

Lol me. twas pretty good indeed. Are any of yall applyin to LSA-neuroscience??

Does anyone have any information about the in-state tuition application? I am really stressing out because I am an in-state student, but they have classified me out-of-state because I was born and spent 11 years of my life in Australia. I am a citizen of the U.S. and have proven I live in Michigan permanently with my residency track record. However, my application for residency still just says “submitted” so the admissions officers with view me as oos and I fear it will negatively affect my admissions decision

@MimiRave don’t fret! The same thing happened to me that they classified me as out of state when I’m in state… I was worried about it just like you, but I got it figured out. They told me it would take five weeks to fix which, at the time, would’ve made it after Christmas… So I was worried about being looked at as OOS… However, they said that for looking at your application, they will determine IS or OOS based on where your high school is located.
So if it’s in Michigan, you’re an IS applicant!
Hope this helps/makes sense hahah

Awesome! Thank you so much
