<p>i was talking to my friend who got into the med school last year and she said she didnt get notified about her interview until early march. so i wouldnt be stress if u dont get called next week, it doesnt mean you wont get in.</p>
<p>yeah and I was looking through the other UMKC thread, interviews are actually scattered. LIke tiedyetabi said, there will be a few calls this month more in January/February.</p>
<p>great... it's really going to be agonizing then...
on what basis do they call the first few applicants for the interview if they are scattered? is it the order the applications were submitted? or the strongest candidates?? or instate first, then out of state? (< that would help for me)</p>
<p>i would assume instate would go first. out state would be later.</p>

<p>lol me too. but im not sure about that. my friend was instate so i think it maybe more random. maybe its more whoevers application they have in front of them during the moment</p>
<p>I think it goes by state...in-state or OOS. It's the logical way.</p>

<p>yah pretty much. you have to realize 50 % is a lot compared to other programs.</p>
<p>can the interviews be done over the phone? I really don't want to fly to Kansas City, no offense.</p>

<p>true... but it's still pretty competetive... I wish we knew how man people the accept vs. waitlist and how many in each of those groups choose to join the program. hmm... where could I find that out...?</p>

<p>Missouri residents will most likely find out...the rest of us may have to hang on for a bit.</p>
