a new thread for those who are applying this year

what are u guy plan on majoring in?

no idea, but im just applying to the program.

Most likely biology, maybe chemistry. Off-current-topic but, how much in scholarships have you already been awarded?

i heard that if you are out of state, you dont qualify for scholarship. double check this-it may be a rumor.

med students can only get like two scholarships and those are for having a certain GPA. plus they are only like a couple thousand. i think its crap we cant get scholarships. the program isnt as costly as some though so i guess i should be thankful
has anyone applied already?

A quick question: how much does umkc emphasize on senior year grades?

I don't know~ do they get mid year reports?

yes they do want mid year reports.

you get accepted by ur junior grades but they still want to see your final grades

What programs are you guys researching through and getting medical experience in Missouri?

so if one gets a B on a course or two, will that affect ur standing in the admissions process?

nope! la la ten chars

unless this course is like a regular class/ (non ap course)

does anyone know the average SAT or SAT II score for those who got admitted in? thanks a lot

Did anyone who is already accepted and is year 1 or 2 follow the discussion to this new thread?

all i know is the average act score is 30 for the program. I am assuming the average sat would be in the 2000 - 2050 range.

um this school suprisingly doesnt care about sat 2s. but im sending mine just in case.

umkc cares more about act than sat. are you all out of state?

I'm in state, any others from Missouri?

Does anyone know what the average in state ACT score is at UMKC?

yes im out of state. and dont worry, i took the ACT
