HAHA! Im right with you @desigirl23!!! GOD THIS IS JUST TORTURE! What kills me is that the decision has already been made so why can’t they just email us! I can’t wait any longer, I’m freaking out!
Hello. I am currently in the program. Just a word of advice: it does not do you any good to freak out over the little things. There are many kids in my class who do and it creates unnecessary stress for everyone around you. I understand being anxious, but you shouldn’t be having a heart attack every second until the end of the week. If it is meant to be, you will get it. If not, pursue your dreams else where and if you work hard, one day they will come true. I can guarantee you that much. Another thing: stop comparing stats. I know you’re trying to get an idea of how other people around you are doing but that’s not really the way it works here. Sure, we occasionally compare grades with those closest to us, but we don’t compete with each other. It is not cut throat. Almost everyone here helps each other and the community out in some way or another. We share study guides with each other, we study together, we have fun together. If you get in, you will become colleagues, not competitors. That being said, I hope all of you get in if you are passionate about medicine. Good luck to everyone!

Well I’m in state, so I might have gotten mine earlier compared to people that are out of state,and I just got accepted to the six year program!!! Now I have decisions to make! Best of luck to you all!

D got in, so excited!! But she needs to take summer chem 211, called provisional admission. She missed 2 questions to pass. In state. She is calling to find out summer Chem test. Anybody is in the same status?
Yes, I got my mail today. And where did it state the provisional status of her chemistry? It doesn’t say a thing about chemistry on my acceptance…

If you don’t hear anything about the chemistry, that means you passed the Chemistry Toledo Test. This means that you have been accepted t the 6 year program, and you won’t have to take chemistry over the summer! Congrats to @drsomeday and @bluedog12 daughter for being accepted!

Before anything happens, I’d like to congratulate everyone that has been accepted so far. Good luck to you if you choose to attend the program, I know every single one of you will make amazing doctors because you all sure do have the drive, passion and ambition.
To everyone else and myself, I wish you the absolute best. But my biology teacher always told me, “maybe one door closes so the best one can open”. Some of us may not get into our first choice or God forbid, get rejected. But, there is another path and that path is the one we will do best on. Maybe UMKC is our path, and if not, please keep your dream alive. You never know, you might meet your soul mate and the other path you take or are given a once in a lifetime research/missionary opportunity.
So, let’s pat ourselves on the back for making it this far and, like I said, I wish you the best.
Never give up. If you were meant to be a doctor, you will be a doctor. And sometimes we cant focus on the path but the end.

To everyone else, I received my letter today and I have been accepted to the six year program. This has been such a humbling day. My childhood dream has finally come true and I never believed in tears of joy until this day.
