You have great scores (well within Yale's range), a high GPA, and a very rigorous courseload. Your ethnic background could help your chances, Yale is big on diversity and foreign backgrounds. The only major factor that seems to be missing from your resumé is some leadership experience. Whether or not you have leadership experience from your activities is dubious simply because you don't have a "leadership title" (officer of a club / captain of a sports team). But I think with a good essay, you have a strong chance of admission.

the other problem is lack of passion shown in the extracurrics, which could hurt

oh yeah i go to stuy too =/

Stupak just curious... how could the OP show more passion in her extracurricular activities?

stupak, do you know the OP? That would be interesting ;)

I think you have a pretty good chance. Your scores and grades are great. Don't bother retaking the SAT.

Bunnyturtle, are you Ye? Now guess who I am. hehe

crap i know bearberry and bunnyturtle sorta =(

for the extracurrics, i don't see any underlying passion, the ecs seem to spread out different areas with no like love for a certain one, maybe rowing as the exception, but not much else. colleges don't like renaissance men and women anymore, so =/

Thanks everyone... yeah, I kinda know who stupak is, but eh, I can't seem to figure out who bearberry is...!! Sorry, haha.

Anyway, I do realize that I don't have any leadership positions... I'm trying to start a rowing club this fall and I don't know how much that would help; it's like a continuation of my summer activities and yeah, I guess I'm pretty into it .

Other stuff... about the renaissance men and women thing, I really dont know. Ultimate, newspaper art staff, and music are unrelated, and yes I guess I do have pretty randomly distributed EC, but I'm not exactly the jump around type. I start something and usually go on with it. I'm not a leader in any of them but I believe I do have dedication. And it's quality over quantity, eh? :)
