My A Level First Year Internal Exam Transcript looks like this:

Chemistry: A
Physics: B
Mathematics: B
Urdu: A
Economics: C

I'm expecting Straight A's in my A Level Finals (result in mid-August 2008)

There aren't any clubs in my school neither any special extra-curricular activities. Though I did Voluntary Work at S.O.S. Village for Orphans this summer. I play table-tennis, soccer, cricket, badminton as a hobby. I have debating experience. Moreover I did Internship at a shoe factory (Hush Puppies), just to observe the corporate norms of the firm and to see what engineers do there. My essay is pretty catchy, and i'm quite satisfied with it, i have mentioned that i intend to participate actively in extra-curricular activities in the college as I was unable to do so till high-school level because of the lack of opportunities.

Moreover I am applying for financial aid as I belong to a low-income family.

Will anyone tell me what my chances of admission are??

I forgot to mention that I'm a guitarist as well as a vocalist, i have a band and we perform at underground gigs etc. Its a Alternative/Punk Rock band.

One more thing: I did a job for two months during my last two summer vacations at a call center, i worked there for 40 hours a week!....this'll count as a worthy work experience i think!?

mohdaliz, you are a very likely rejection, your transcript is extremely subpar and doing a summer job at a factory or at a call center is probably the most mundane work you can do, i'm not trying to judge why you did it, you probably had nobel reasons, but it doesn't say anything about your personality. you can predict and promise all you want about the future of grades and activities, but results need to show, your O-level grades are good, they are on par, but your current transcript is really the killer, the C in econ especially. Columbia gets some fantastic students from pakistan, people with your sort of o-level grades and some amazing internships / initiatives. only your SATs are good, and those i think can't get you in by themselves, i might easily be wrong though.

Awesome SAT scores, and your ECs are fine given that your school doesn't offer a good selection and you were probably working to help your family. Does anybody know if Columbia is need-blind for internationals?

That's one of the reasons why int'll students have a much harder time being accepted when they're applying for aid. You basically not only have to show that you're Columbia material, but that you're 200 grand ABOVE Columbia material.
